2019 Canadian Netrunner Nationals

Edmonton is extremely excited to host the first NISEI lead Nationals and we can’t wait to run with you!

Event Details

National Championships will take place on November 16th. This event will run all day, crowning our new National Champion sometime in the evening! On day 2, we will be hosting a Core Experience tournament.

The venue is Tabletop Cafe, the hub of Netrunner in Edmonton. This venue offers food, snacks and drinks.

Registration fees will cover the costs of the event kit, the first day’s entry into the venue and some little tokens of our appreciation for your attendance.

To help us plan the event size, we are offering online ticket sales. Register before October 1st for the best pricing. Sorry, no refunds (we will send you your tokens of appreciation though!)

November 16, 2019: National Championships

The big one! Your registration gets you entry to this event, venue access and complementary snacks until 4:00 pm. Players are welcome to purchase drinks and meals from the venue. Be advised that no outside food and drink are permitted.

Registration Opens: 9:00 am

Registation Close: 9:45 am

Round 1 Start: 10:00 am

Cut – Estimated to be around 5-6pm.

We are currently working with the assumption of enough players for 5 rounds with a top 8 cut. Those that don’t make the cut are invited to stick around and play in a side event (will depend on side-event organizers stepping up).

November 17, 2019: Core Experience Tournament

There is no additional tournament fee for this event, however, the venue will be charging their normal $7/person to anyone attending this event.

Registration Opens: 10:00 am

Registration Closes: 10:30 am

Round 1 Start: 10:45 am

In addition to event tickets, we are also accepting donations to help with the event costs. We have lots of prize ideas, but it was our goal to keep registration fees low – so we are asking for the community to provide donations (in $5 increments, just add the number of “tickets” you want to reach the total you’d like to donate) to help us increase our prize budget.

Thanks to our Sponsors!
